Rockabilly Clothing, Retro 50s Clothing, Rockabilly Fashion
Rockabilly Clothing is what I wear to this here Rockabilly dance class I’ve joined, right? I’ve decided the time is right and I wanna find me a man! My mama says that joining this Rockabilly dance club will be a sure-fire way of meeting some nice country boys… gee I hope so. I wanna get hitched, and I wanna have some kids while I’m still young enough, and pretty enough (ha ha), to enjoy life.
I love Rockabilly clothing. And hey, by the way… I was wearing it long before I found this here dance class. Maybe that’s why it seemed the perfect club for me to join - ‘cos it matched my Rockabilly outfits! You gotta love that. And hell yes, I love to dance! I love strollin’, and Jivin, and best of all… I love the flat out hoon-dog pace of Boppin’. That’s the three main styles of Rockabilly in case you didn’t know. Most people don’t of course – it cracks me up ‘cos they love wearing the Rockabilly clothing – but yet they don’t have a clue about the craziness of Rockabilly dancin’!
I need to hit the Rockabilly clothing shops again… its time for our clubs annual Rockabilly Dance Festival. Boy, I can’t wait to find something that’s giddy-up cool to wear so I can look rockin’ on the dance floor. We bin practising our moves flat knacker this week ‘cos we need to look the best we can. And plus I wanna look really swingin’ so I can catch the eye of that new boy - Billy Ray. He’s just joined our club and let me tell ya, he is dam fine. I wanna get me some of that!
Rockabilly clothing gives us the look. But most of all it shows that we got the Rockabilly attitude! It’s a completely different style from your regular Rocker style. We girls love the 50s fashion with the dresses and scarves… but we add a country hip hop twist to it. Throw in a bit of R & B and you got it honey! Some of the boys, like that new boy Billy Ray, dress a little like Elvis when they come to class. Wow-wee that just drives me crazy! He shakes his cute butt, out there boppin’ with the boys… I just know he’s really into it. Yee hah, I’m just hopin’ he might be really into me real soon (ha ha). And if you ask me… that is a mighty fine, hot-diggity-dog reason to wear Rockabilly clothing!
