Hot Fashion Jewellery, Bracelets, Necklaces, Rings & Earrings
I decided to buy my friends hot fashion jewellery for Christmas. There were some gorgeous new designs out; I’d seen them online and in the shops. Most of it repetitive and predictable… but some of it looked really funky and unique. In fact, if my budget wasn’t so tight, I’d be making a hot fashion jewellery purchase for myself! Never mind… maybe after I get that pay rise the boss promised in the New Year? So, instead of getting them the usual style of jewellery they were used to, my plan was to make things a little more spicy and interesting. Hot fashion jewellery was going to be my point of difference this year.
Finding the ideal piece of fashion jewellery for my oldest and dearest friend, was the first mission. Her and I had been through thick and thin together. From our first flighty boyfriends… through to our most recent ugly divorces - she and I had done it all. She was the sensible one, the one I went running to when disaster hit (which was often). I wanted to give her something that was special. A piece of the trendiest, hottest fashion jewellery that would show her how much I loved her and how valuable a friend she was to me. I bought her a chunky, shimmering blue and purple rhinestone Frog brooch.
The next friend on my list didn’t deserve a hot fashion jewellery gift from me. In fact she didn’t deserve a ‘hot’ anything as far as I was concerned. She had stolen my boyfriend right from under my nose and now they were living together. Ok, so he wasn’t my actual boyfriend… but I had confided in her, at the time, that I fancied him and that I intended to make him notice me at the party we were all at. Such a shame, because up until then, her and I had so much in common. Including tastes in men, it turned out. However, it was Christmas and I was all for forgiving and forgetting… and besides, I missed her. I bought her a pearl choker necklace with a red glass ‘broken heart’ design on the front.
Buying hot fashion jewellery for my last important friend was easy. Easy… because she was actually a he. When he finally announced he was gay, we had all cheered and told him we could’ve told him that, years ago! It all made perfect sense. He was the one we shopped with, sought fashion advice from, and the one who never had a real girlfriend. Choosing the perfect piece of hot fashion jewellery for him just felt right. I bought him a brilliant pair of red and green Aztec-style peacock feather earrings.
