Corset Lingerie, Sexy Corsets & Bustiers

I was going to wear a corset.  I'd made up my mind.  I’d seen a doco on telly about corsets and how it was the latest fashion trend and if I was going to this High School reunion then I needed to be fashionable.  These corsets looked erotic and sexy and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that in these modern times, women wore them as outer evening wear.  Not only did corsets enhance their good bits, but they sucked in all their fat wobbly bits as well. Perfect!  I had put on a bit of weight over Christmas so I could do with a quick fix shape enhancement.
 
Now I’d never worn a corset before.  Oh sure, there had been other sexy lingerie items along the way but for me, none as adventurous as a corset.  So before I headed off to the finest lingerie shop I could find, I thought I should research my newly obsessive underwear topic first. 
 
As follows:  It is thought that the very first corsets originated thousands of years ago – around 1700 BC - the Bronze Age.  I pitied the state of the poor woman back then who had to scrounge to survive AND wear a bloody corset at the same time!  Corsets then re-emerged around the Renaissance period and were on and off again until the Victorian age.  It was apparently designer Vivienne Westwood who re-invented the corset as a means of defining the feminine form in the 1970’s and 80’s.  Helped along with pop stars like Madonna who decided to put it all out there and wear a pale pink sexy corset live on stage and strike her pose for all women-kind.
 
So off I trotted to try on as many sexy smokin’ hot corsets as I could lay my hands on.  Turns out I only needed one – the first one I tried on I LOVED!  It was a black crushed velvet corset with dark crimson satin ribbon and had deep purple lace woven into it.  It laced up at the back and pulled my waist into the most beautiful sexy shape I could ever have dreamed of.  My boobs perked up like they’d been yanked from above by an imaginary boob fairy and my posture became elegant and defined - I had a figure!
 
My night at the reunion wearing my exotic corset was fantastic and I decided to accept the many compliments I received rather than my usual modest denial act.  (I had never been any good at being told I looked nice).   So as far as successfully wearing a most glamorous sexy corset and impressing the hell out of my old High School peers – I reckon I’d nailed it.  Much like Peter Fitzsimons, my old boyfriend from 9th grade who snuck back to my place later that night and nailed ME!!  Shhh don’t tell the teacher….
